Admitted to the Bucharest Bar in 2014 among the top entrants (third-highest score nationwide out of more than 4,000 candidates), TSA Legal partner Traian Ștefănescu is a graduate of the Faculty of Law at the University of Bucharest and holds a master’s degree in Tax Law from the same university.

He completed advanced training programs at the Academy of European Law in Trier, Germany, and at the Institute for Austrian and International Tax Law of the Vienna University of Economics and Business. He has also published multiple articles in Romanian and international journals and has been invited as a speaker at professional conferences.

With over 11 years of practice, he provides counsel and representation in both litigation and advisory matters across tax law and administrative litigation, civil law, commercial law, medical law and malpractice, as well as criminal law.

In recent years, he has achieved notable results in tax advisory projects, in general business and start-up consulting, and in high-stakes disputes concerning freedom of expression and defamation, including in online and media contexts.

Previously, he practiced with reputable law firms with a national and international presence, achieving significant results in tax law and administrative litigation.
